During the summer of 2013, Neil Luck was asked to devise a piece for the Hepworth Wakefield gallery, with local performers. 
Ayup! Ukulele orchestra, and Indie band Suilven were bolstered in the performance by two players from ARCO – Adam de la Cour and Stephen Crowe. 

Responding to the solo show installed in the gallery by Haroon Mirza (which featured live audio and video broadcasting from transmitters installed in the Wakefield area), this piece, Frequency, drew broadly on ideas of broadcast, FM radio, Semaphore and Morse Code. 

As an open score and structure, the piece can be performed by any collection of massed musicians and ensembles.
